Matariki indepedent mahi

 we had to make a independent matariki mahi we had to pick one star out of waiti,waita,waipunarangi,tupuanuku,tupuarangi,ururangi,pohutukawa and hiwa ite rangi. and write about them i chose waiti and this is what it looks like.

 

ideal school

 last week we had to make our ideal school so we could make our on school on a google drawing with a grid some people did it on there book some did it on our chroombooks and we were allowed to work in groups of two i went by my self we all did good school's i liked mine alot and i was proud of mine alot. Here is my ideal school.

Kupe narritive

me and my class had to do Narritive writing about kupe we had to pretend that we were Kupe and all of us made a huge succes in our Narritive here is mine.

Kupe narrative 

Kia ora ko kupe toku ingoa im telling you my great story. A very long time ago i was a fears maori warrior i was a rangatira of a land named Hawaiki there was a very beautiful women i think the most beautiful in this land i was in love with her name is Hine te Aparangi she already had a husband named Hoturapa but Hine te aparangi wanted to be with me so i had a plan for hine te aparangi to be with me so i got hoturapa to come fish with me i told untie the rope so the waka will dive in to the sea so he untied the rope and the waka dived in to the sea and i swam up out of the sea and i left hoturapa to drowned and i went to steal matawhaorua and took hine te aparangi with me i went to Raiatea to get some kumara and other resources and then traveled from there i went there were huge waves lightning so i did a karakia and i received 4 taniwha to help them threw the challenges there was only one challenge his name was muturangi and his pet it was a wheke that keep on taking my bait for some fish that we can eat so i had to kill muturangi’s wheke. Hine te aparangi spotted a long white cloud she yelled he ao he ao he aotearoa and i new we have arrived in maui’s fish that he fished out of the sea but muturangi’s wheke is waiting in a cave i stopped i said i am going to kill muturangi’s wheke so i fought that ugly wheke and it was a fierce battle but i finally killed the wheke o muturangi then we lived i stayed for 40 years i put my son tipu tipu whenua at the top of the taniwha niniwa then i went back to the people i left behind and i did a karakia so niniwa and araiteuru will protect this land and it made three waves the long wave the huge wave and the wave that crashes in to the sure and off i went when i got there and rebuilt matahorua and i named it ngatokimatawhaorua and gave it to my grandson nukutawhiti and he passed the waves doing the karakia e kau ki te tai e and lived forever that is my story. 

friday

today we had breakfast and cared on doing the same thing we do every morning and then we went to the waikato gardens after that we went to a cool park. and had some food at the gardens and we saw a tuna in the big lake trying to eat the duck. Then we came home after the park and today is a special day for papa and we are making letters for him.

thursday

last night aunty Tere came to Hamilton from Auckland. Today we still did the same thing we do every morning but with aunty Tere and we went to the pools then we played for 2 hours then we had some food then we  played for 3 more hours and then we had a shower then we went home and talked about what we did. today was so fun

wensday

Today we watch a move then we did the same thing we do every morning then we went to the mole and the moves and 2 dollar shop after that we went to the museum and we saw a waka and moari stuff then we went to the gaming room at the museum with auntie Jazz and auntie Hinemoa and went back home and had diner and desert.

and we saw heaps of dinosaur fossil and the one that was the smallest it was 200 million years old
